Eclectic Greek Cuisine
In Archipelagos All Suites Restaurant we have created a sharing style menu based on Greek cuisine. Using seasonal products from Cyclades islands and modern techniques, we present you our inspired dishes. A contemporary interpretation of new Greek Cuisine defined by seasonality and sustainability.
The proximity to nature, the use of local products and the preservation of local recipes and food preparation are all reflected in balance in the Archipelagos Cuisine, ensuring that our guests will experience a true taste of Greece.
Greek Breakfast at Archipelagos
The breakfast served at Archipelagos All Suites is made using the finest – locally produced – materials and the best locally produced food products in the Cyclades and the other Aegean Sea islands.
We purchase our bread, different types and varieties, from the local family owned bakery at Ano Mera. We buy our barley rusks from a local producer located in Chania, Crete.
Our cakes and cookies come with different flavors, freshly baked each day, based on traditional home recipes. Our dairy products, among others, Naxos Graviera, Kopanisti of Mykonos, PDO Feta cheese from goat milk and Greek Kasseri cheese are sourced from local producers and are of the finest quality. Yogurt comes with traditional home made sweets and thyme honey locally produced in the Cyclades.
Our homemade jams are free of preservatives, additives and contain whole pieces of strawberry and apricot.
On a daily basis we offer several sweet alternatives, freshly made desserts like the classic Pasta Flora, homemade pies and the famous portokalopita (orange pie based on a recipe from Milos island).
Our baked pies of the day are made using only the best, fresh local & traditional materials. Within these, we include our cheese pie made with the traditional tyrovolia of Mykonos, our seasoned pumpkin pie and our home made rustic spanakotyropita (spinach pie).
On our rich Cycladic breakfast, you will also find loukoumia from Syros island, pasteli made of sesame and thyme homey, sweet trahana, traditional rice pudding (rizogalo), our very own grandmother’s pancakes, our semolina halva with dried fruits and halva with honey and tahini. Of course, you can also find an abundance of fresh fruits.
